Who is responsible for your information

Cllr Marc Goldfinger is the data controller for personal information sent to him through this website or to info@marcgoldfinger.com. You can write to him at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, or email info@marcgoldfinger.com.

Emails about ward casework sent to Cllr.Marc.Goldfinger@rbkc.gov.uk go through the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's systems. Marc handles that casework as your elected councillor, and the council's own privacy arrangements also apply.

What we collect and why

This website has no contact form and no sign-up list. If you email Marc, he receives your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell him. He uses it to respond to you and, where you ask him to, to take up an issue on your behalf. This can include raising it with the council or another organisation, sharing only what is needed to do that.

The legal basis is Marc's legitimate interest in responding to the people who contact him and, for casework, the performance of his role as an elected representative. Where you share sensitive information, such as details about your health, it is used only for your case under the conditions UK data protection law provides for elected representatives.

Other services used by this website

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the pages. The X (Twitter) feed on the home page is provided by SociableKit and loads content from X, which may set its own cookies. This site does not use its own advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and is then deleted. Marc does not sell or share your information for marketing, and will not add you to any mailing list without your clear consent.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information held about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email info@marcgoldfinger.com. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
